The Performing Arts Department will present the Choral Union in its spring concert on Tuesday, May 5, at 8 p.m. in the Dowd Fine Arts Theatre. The concert is free and open to the public. The program features a concert of music for the stage and will include selections from operas and a musical play.
Among the opera composers represented in the program are Verdi, Rossini, Toch, and Wagner. Stephen Wilson, the ensemble director, has arranged a new choral arrangement of music from Sondheim's theatre piece "A Little Night Music."
