Mediation and Resolution Service

The Mediation and Resolution Service (MRS) pilot program offers academic and professional faculty members an informal, impartial and confidential way to discuss questions or concerns without fear of retaliation or judgment. The committee will help address these concerns through methods such as one-on-one discussions, mediation by committee members, or referrals to other resources.

The committee can mediate issues such as:

  • Personality conflicts
  • Campus climate issues
  • Bullying
  • Sexism
  • Homophobia
  • Lack of civility and collegiality
  • Cultural differences
  • Other areas of dispute
