Is financial aid available?
In order to qualify for financial aid, students need to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, better known as the FAFSA form and enroll in at least six credit hours each Fall and Spring semester of the year aid is being requested. Visit the Financial Aid Office for more information.

Do I have to enroll full-time?
Students in the Integrated Studies Program can elect to enroll in as few as one course as a part-time student, or enroll in twelve or more credit hours and be considered a full-time student. Discuss your options with the Community Engagement and Academic Coordinator and the Online Program Coordinator.
How long will it take to complete the IGS Program?
Each individual student and their circumstances will impact time to degree. Considerations include number of credit hours taken per semester, transfer credit, and any credit for prior learning awarded. Be sure to discuss your degree plan with your academic advisor.
I'm having technical difficulties accessing my coursework online.
For immediate help, contact The Help Center. Call them at 607-753-2500. There are multiple online support requests that you can fill out to get assistance as well.
Are there other ways for me to complete a degree online at SUNY Cortland?
As you discuss your individual circumstances and prior learning with the community engagement and academic coordinator and academic advisor, it may be determined that there are alternate pathways to degree completion, but still include taking the core IGS courses offered.
When can I take classes?
Course offerings vary, but all students have the opportunity to take classes during the traditional Fall and Spring semesters, as well as our Winter and Summer sessions. Be sure to discuss all of your options with your academic advisor and Online Program Coordinator.
