Computer Applications Program

SUNY Cortland offers a Computer Applications Program (CAP) interdisciplinary minor so that students have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of computer applications and systems. The minor is designed to complement any academic major.

Students completing the minor will have the skills and knowledge needed to use a variety of programs to solve problems in their respective disciplines. Students completing the minor obtain competencies in beginning and intermediate computer applications as well as more advanced topics such as networking, programming, web development, information security and databases.

As part of CAP, students may also become Teaching Assistants and receive practicum credit.
