Due to the current situation and campus policies surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Alumni Arena will not be open for the remainder of the calendar year this includes services such as Lunch Skate, events of any kind or outside rentals.
There is still the option to drop off ice skates for sharpening Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Parking Operations has transitioned to virtual permits for visitors and guests. This change will allow guest/visitor permission to be relayed to field personnel in real-time, and will help reduce citations issued in error to registered vehicles. Additional information will follow later this year outlining how this change will impact faculty/staff permit holders.
Effective immediately, the following information will be required for all guest/visitor parking permission:

Requests without all of the required information cannot be processed. The preferred method to request parking permission is by email – parking@cortland.edu. Permission may be requested in advance of visit.
Schools and Groups are NOT allowed at public skate and need to call to set up an alternative time
NO one under the age of 18 without an adult present
There are no other times for public skate.
No sticks and/or pucks during lunch skate
We do not host open hockey to the public
Skate Sharpening: $5 per pair and will be available for pickup within 24 hours of drop-off
Hockey Tape: $1
Skate Laces: $1
Skate for fitness and for fun on your lunch hour.
Free Admission (with signed waiver)No food or tobacco is allowed in Alumni Arena.
Responsible students are needed to assist with arena operations such as ice and equipment maintenance, skate rental and skate guards. Positions are advertised through the Career Services.
