Park Center Alumni Arena

Spring 2022 Updates:

Alumni Arena is only open for scheduled athletic and campus events for the Spring 2022 semester. There will be no other available times for usage of Alumni Arena. All attendees must follow the campus COVID protocol at all times or they will be removed from Alumni Arena. Spectators should know face coverings will be required for all fans, regardless of vaccination status, at all SUNY Cortland contests in the spring of 2022. This policy is based on recommendations made by the SUNY Public Health Working Group. All Covid related questions are directed to the COVID-19 Safety Information webpage.

Services offered by Alumni Arena:

Skate Sharpening: $5 per pair and will be available for pickup within 24 hours of drop-off

Hockey Tape: $1

Skate Laces: $1

Non-Event Parking Operations Information:

The Parking Operations has transitioned to virtual permits for visitors and guests.  This change will allow guest/visitor permission to be relayed to field personnel in real-time, and will help reduce citations issued in error to registered vehicles.  Additional information will follow later this year outlining how this change will impact faculty/staff permit holders.

Effective immediately, the following information will be required for all guest/visitor parking permission:

• Vehicle License plate number
• Name of vehicle operator
• Make of vehicle
• Model of vehicle
• Desired parking location
• Length of visit (in days)

Optionally:

• Mobile contact number for vehicle operator (used for emergency/urgent communication)

Requests without all of the required information cannot be processed. The preferred method to request parking permission is by email – parking@cortland.edu.  Permission may be requested in advance of visit.

Employment

Responsible students are needed to assist with arena operations such as ice and equipment maintenance, skate rental and skate guards. Positions are advertised through the Career Services.
