Students are identified by class year in accordance with the number of credit hours earned toward graduation as follows:

| Freshman | 0-25.5 credit hours |
| Sophomore | 26-56 credit hours |
| Junior | 56.5-89.5 credit hours |
| Senior | 90 or more credit hours |
