Students and faculty from art and art history spent a day in the woods this   September creating delicate installations composed of natural materials that convey a message to the viewers. Above, the arches created from tree branches frame views of the lake or shoreline, depending on the vantage point and represent an opening or threshold to be crossed. Below, the circular rings of leaves and stones surrounding the railroad in the center represent the Durant, Huntington and Cortland eras of the camp.
