✔ Identify three professional or academic recommenders

✔ Review all application deadlines

1. District / Building Leader Endorsement (If Applicable)

✔ Meet with your district or building leader to inform them you are applying

✔ Enter their Name, Title, and Email in the application

✔ Endorsement form will be sent directly by the CNY ATC Program

Notes:

✔ Districts are asked to complete the form even if they cannot endorse

✔ Endorsement is highly encouraged but not required

✔ Preference is given to candidates with district endorsement

2. Letters of Recommendation (3)

✔ Three professional or academic letters submitted

✔ Letters address professionalism, communication, reliability, and educator potential

✔ Uploaded directly through the online application

3. Current Resume

✔ Resume uploaded

✔ Includes education, employment, skills, and certifications

✔ Volunteer or school-based experience included (if applicable)

4. College Transcripts

✔ Unofficial transcripts accepted for initial review

✔ Must include institution name, coursework, GPA, and degree earned

✔ Upload transcripts from all institutions attended

5. Completed Online Application

✔ Personal, employment, and education information completed

✔ Teaching or student-facing experience described

✔ Short-answer questions completed

✔ Interested teaching field selected

✔ All required uploads attached

✔ Application Agreement signed

✔ Files open correctly (PDF preferred)

✔ Files clearly labeled (e.g., LastName_Resume.pdf)

✔ Recommenders are aware of deadlines

✔ District/building leader notified (if applicable)

✔ Confirmation email received
