CrowdStrike Falcon endpoint security is now used to protect all college managed computers from security threats. This software and associated services augment SUNY Cortland information security staff, continuously monitoring to reduce the risk of viruses, malware, phishing and scams while strengthening the protection of our critical data and institutional infrastructure.
The software recently safeguarded a member of our campus community by detecting and stopping a fraudster’s attempt to obtain documents containing social security numbers before any data was exposed.
