Psychology alum, Aydan Coughlin ’25, was awarded the Psi Chi Undergraduate Research Award under the supervision of Dr. Bridget Hier. This competitive national award supports a study designed to examine the psychometric properties of a measure of children’s sentence writing skills. Dr. Hier’s research team of 10 undergraduate Psychology students is currently preparing for data collection in a local elementary school, and Coughlin is gaining experience with project management through the award.
