Long Island Counselor Reception

Students sitting on the lawn outside of Moffett Center

There are many reasons more than 40 percent of SUNY Cortland students come from Long Island. Strong academic programs across 64 majors. Tremendous value in terms of affordability and career success. Undeniable pride in the campus. Our students often say: “When I stepped on campus, Cortland just felt like college should.”

But don’t just take our word for it. We want you to hear from our students themselves.

That’s why we hope you’ll attend a lunch reception exclusively for Long Island college counselors. In addition to receiving a free meal, you’ll meet current SUNY Cortland students. It’s meant to be a fun, informal opportunity to learn more about an incredible campus, not a stuffy admissions presentation from someone in a suit.

Of course, we’ll also fill you in on our admissions process, scholarship opportunities and the qualities that make SUNY Cortland one of the best public colleges in New York state.
