The degree conferral application is a required step, where a student notifies the College that they intend to graduate. Students should meet with their advisor to verify eligibility prior to the conferral term. Al student will apply for the degree using the online application.
The online degree application will be available in myRedDragon during the application periods below. The additional dates provide the timelines for degree posting and diploma deliveries.
Please note that the "early fall" and the standard fall application windows refer to the same official date. Early applications are accepted from January 15 to March 1 to accommodate students who are attending commencement in May 2017. The description of each timeline is below the chart.

Late conferral petitions may be submitted using a late degree conferral petition (available in myRedDragon). The above deadlines must be met to receive your diploma during the windows provided, to report your status to the National Student Clearinghouse and to appear in certain publications and notices. Students submitting a late degree conferral petition will receive the diploma at a later date and may not appear in some recognitions or publications if approved. Late petitions cannot be accepted after the dates posted on the petition form.
Students applying for degree conferral after March 1, 2017 cannot have their name printed in the Spring 2017 commencement program due to printing and production deadlines.

Applications are verified by the Registrar's Office using data in the student information systems. The Registrar's Office will hold or decline applications where there are outstanding obligations or an excess of incomplete credits or requirements. In the event an application cannot be accepted or is held, the student will be notified via email. No retroactive degrees will be granted where a student does not meet all requirements and/or obligations to the College at the time of conferral.
