Created to recognize one full-time teaching faculty member each year for establishing and maintaining significant connections with students outside the classroom. Must be active full-time for the previous academic year who provide a positive impact on students outside the classroom, establish and/or maintain opportunities for student involvement outside of the classroom, and demonstrate that they have ‘gone the extra mile’ in order to serve students.
Nominations will be reviewed by the Student Affairs Faculty Connection Award Committee and a recommendation is made to the Vice President for Student Affairs.
