SUNY Cortland has established standard exam times to allow for two hour exams during the final exam period. The standard final exam period is used by students and instructors who are attempting to determine exam times prior to the exam period. The Academic Calendar is the official College calendar that outlines semester start and end dates, official holidays, college breaks, mid-semester dates, quarter dates, student teaching timelines, study days, final exam periods, and commencement dates. The Official Academic Calendar is determined by the Campus Calendar Committee, chaired by the President's Office. The calendars are approved by the Faculty Senate prior to publication.
