SUNY Cortland’s Facilities, Operations and Services Department is accepting applications from SUNY and New York state community college students for summer employment starting Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, July 24, 2015.
Forty to fifty positions are available to assist with deep cleaning residence halls and academic buildings and to help move/transport items around campus. We are offering 28 hours per week. The hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Pay is $10.50 hour.
Applicants must be at least a half time SUNY or NYS community college students to be eligible for appointment. No exceptions will be made to this requirement. Student eligibility is defined to include those who are taking summer classes or those who are enrolled for classes for the fall 2015 semester. Proof of matriculation may be required. Positions have no experience requirements, but do require medium to heavy physical labor.
