Camp Marion

Lean-tos, reservations ongoing

Two lean-tos or open camps are available to SUNY Cortland alumni, faculty/staff, guests and students by reservation. The lean-tos are accessible by water/ice only and are approximately a two-mile paddle/hike from Antlers. Canoes may be rented from Antlers for $25 per day with prior notice. There is no fee associated with the reservation and use of the Camp Marion lean-tos; however, they must be reserved to ensure the lean-to you are hoping to use is available.

Kirby Camp 2024

Vacation in a rustic cabin along the southern shores of Raquette Lake with up to eight of your friends or family. The cabin is rented by the week beginning, June 17 through Sept. 8.

Camp Huntington Spring Clean-up May 2,3-5

Join us to open Camp Huntington for the season. Arrive either Thursday or Friday night, departure will be Sunday morning. If you would like to join us contact Rhonda or complete the online form below.

Antlers Spring Clean-up May 5-8

Join us as we spruce up Antlers for the season. We are piggy-backing off the Camp Huntington session to make it easier for those traveling some distance. Please contact Deb if you would like to help us ready for the season. Any of the dates work if you can't stay the whole time.

Challenge Course Refresher, May 3-5, 2024

Our required refresher training for all current instructors for the Challenge Course at Camp Huntington. Instructors can register for High, Low or both refresher trainings. Registration information is below, and if you have questions, please email Deb.

Boater Safety Training, June 7-8-9, 2024

Our required safety training for all group instructors coming to the center that wish to take their groups out for extended paddling excursions. Training needs to be refreshed every two years, or submit other approved trainings that are comparable to this. Register by May 10, 2024, space is limited so please secure your spot early. Antlers Alumni Camps 2024

For the sessions that are full, we are taking waiting list only reservations.

Dates for a relaxing, mountain vacation await your registration! Families and individuals can choose from a full session or a half session, and this year any Field Biology graduates can attend a special session as a Field Bio Reunion. Camp activities onsite include paddling canoes/kayaks/paddleboards, swimming, campfires, and community meals. Other activities can be found locally to supplement your vacation plans. Camp Huntington Alumni Summer Camp, July 3-7, 2024

Come spend the 4th of July with your family and/or friends on the shores of Raquette Lake. You will have the opportunity to plan your day whether it includes paddling, hiking, sleeping, leaving the property, or reading a book on the dock. Three meals provided daily. Faculty-Staff-CAS Camp 2024 at Antlers

Session is FULL! We look forward to a fun-filled week with all of those registered. If anyone would still like to come at another time, check out our Alumni session dates and if we still have space, we will register you there! Just add a note in the reservation form that the Faculty/Staff session is full.

Take some time from work on campus, and enjoy four days in the Adirondacks at the Raquette Lake campus of SUNY Cortland. Never been to Antlers? Then check out the information sheet and sign up for an adventure with us. Paddle the mountain lake, hike local trails, relax under the stars by the campfire, and see what Cortland's Raquette Lake site in the Adirondacks really is. Hearts of Gold Alumni and Student Weekend, Sept. 20-22, 2024    

Join us for a gathering of recreation alumni and graduating recreation students for a weekend at Raquette Lake. We will be paddling, playing and mentoring in this exclusive weekend where seasoned alumni in the recreation field come back to join forces with graduating recreation majors to help give them a leg-up as they enter the workforce.  Young alumni are very much encouraged to attend.
