Corey Union serves as the center for the College’s activities and conferences. The facility houses meeting rooms, offices for student organizations, study lounges and the Campus Activities and Corey Union Office as well as the Student Conduct Office, Multicultural Life and Diversity Office and the Vice President for Student Affairs Office. It also contains the all-purpose function room with a seating capacity of approximately 700.
Other services provided in the building include an information center, the College Duplicating Center, Union Station Coffee Shop, and a made to order dining unit. Also located in Corey Union is the Student Voice Office—a drop-in center and a location for multicultural programming.
The Student Government Association (SGA) is based in Corey Union as well. SGA is responsible for student governance, student rights and programs and the allocation of the mandatory student activity fee (MAF).
The Campus Activities and Corey Union Office is a resource to more than 80 clubs and organizations. This office provides a campus calendar for the College community. A sampling of SGA groups include the College television station (CSTV), Black Student Union (BSU), Spectrum, P.O.W.E.R, the Dragon Chronicle, and WSUC-FM just to name a few. The Student Activities Board (SAB) is the largest student programming club on campus and is also located in Corey Union.
The Campus Activities and Corey Union Office is responsible for non-academic room/space scheduling (PDF) and use of college facilities (PDF), including the sport facilities and the Stadium Complex. For informational purposes, please review the Stadium Complex Rules and Regulations (PDF). Policies and information regarding these topics can be found in the College Handbook and the Event Planning Guide.
