Calendar Event

When exploring what, where, and how to pursue your college experience, there are many variables to consider. It can be overwhelming even knowing where to start. During this campus visit, current student leaders will share how they selected a college environment and major. You will also have time to consider tangible action steps to guide your exploration of what college experience would be ideal for your unique needs and wants. Participating in a campus tour and eating lunch in an on-campus dining hall will also introduce you to the Ithaca College Experience.

Participants: ACE Students

Registration: Register for this event through your ACE High School Counselor or Teacher.

Program Category: One of ACE’s pinnacle programs, Campus Visits, occurs every year. The grade specific field trips are hosted by our four sponsoring colleges and universities: Cornell University, Ithaca College, SUNY Cortland, and Tompkins Cortland Community College.

These field trips are designated for each grade level and occur during the school day. Students have an opportunity to meet current college students and explore a variety of college readiness topics such as career exploration, choosing a major, and financing college.

Campus Visits are open to all ACE students, whether or not you are interested in attending the hosting institution. The goal is to provide general and helpful information that will assist you in making the best decision about your individual college (or post-high school) experience.

Accommodations: Should you require necessary accommodations to attend this event, please call the ACE Office at (607) 753-5662 or email us at ace@cortland.edu as soon as possible.
