Calendar Event

Experiencing everything a college has to offer students and the local community, outside academic exploration, and personal development, is an important step in figuring out if college is a pathway forward for you.

Part of your ACE experience is attending music, theater, sporting, and speaker events. And this year we are excited to invite you to the FLEFF kick-off concert at Ithaca College.

This is a free event for students and family members. If we have enough folks interested, we will create a pre or post event connection opportunity with the School of Communication students who help organize this film festival (a community collaboration event) - as part of their academic experience. Also, once the FLEFF schedule is posted, we can sponsor a screening for those interested.

What is the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF)?

Spanning more than a quarter of a century, FLEFF is one of the world's longest-running environmental film festivals and is managed through Ithaca College, in collaboration with local partners and sponsors.

Through film, new media, performance, panels, interviews, and presentations, the festival explores sustainability across all of its forms: economic, social, ecological, political, cultural, technological, and aesthetic. This two week long immersive experience is open to the public.
