Application Checklist

Complete the Application for Undergraduate Admission

Submit the following items for academic admission review:

Official transcripts from your secondary school or school leaving certificate

(English translation and original document required if original is not in English)

Official college transcripts from any colleges you have attended

(English translation and original document required if original is not in English)

Exam scores documenting your English proficiency if English is not your native language

(Acceptable tests and preferred scores: TOEFL: 79, IELTS: Band 6.5, EIKEN: Pre-1, Duolingo: 100, PTE Academic: 55)

Submit these additional items for immigration visa review:

   (These items can arrive later than the above and are only needed if academically accepted)

International Student Financial Statement and supporting documents

(Review the instructions on the above statement to find the required supporting documents and refer to the Undergraduate International Student Expenses)

A photocopy of the information page from your current passport

A completed copy of the SUNY Cortland I-20 Request Form (PDF)

Make sure all of the documents are signed where needed and make sure you have entered a major to study on the application
