Academic offerings are at the core of our educational mission. SUNY Cortland continually seeks to provide current and needed programs to serve students as well as society.
Do you have an idea for a new course or a new program for our undergraduate or graduate students? Welcome to the essential area of curriculum!
The development of a new major, minor, concentration or course is the result of faculty initiative, peer review, and administrative oversight. This Web site is designed to describe the policies and procedures that transform a concept into the classroom.
So, how to proceed? The accompanying links attempt to explain the step-by-step process of curriculum development and to identify the individuals - whether a dean or a committee chair - at each level of review. Every effort will be made to indicate current meeting dates of the curriculum committees as well as to maintain an updated progress report of curriculum action at each level of review.
Questions or Concerns?
Naturally, if you have any questions, concerns or issues regarding curriculum at SUNY Cortland please do not hesitate to contact the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs Office, Miller Building, Room 404, ext. 2206.
