Join us to experience Red Dragon Life!
The Spring Open House offers numerous opportunities for future Red Dragons and families to interact with our community. Get a head start on college life and exploring all that Cortland has to offer you. This event is geared towards accepted students, but all prospective students and families are welcome to attend. We encourage prospective students to make connections early and see how they can succeed at SUNY Cortland.
Daily Program
Getting Started- Welcome Remarks
9:45 a.m. Park Center Alumni Arena
Gather among prospective students and families to hear a welcome address from our President, Director of Admissions and Student Government.
Student Opportunities Fair
10:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Park Center Gym
This event has about 100 tables featuring all academic departments, student service offices and student clubs. This is the best place to ask specific questions and learn from the students, faculty and staff who may share common interests with you!Special Presentations
10:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Park Center, various rooms
Faculty and student support staff will present detailed information about their services, specific majors and academic pathways.
Lunch and Ice Cream Social
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Student Life Center, Bistro
Join an informal meet-up with other accepted students and families, enjoy SUNY Cortland’s very own Red Dragon’s Delight ice cream.
Lunch will be provided in the Bistro, our residential dining facility located in the Student Life Center.

With a large number of visitors expected on campus, please allow enough time for parking.
