The Publications and Electronic Media Office works with the various administrative offices on campus to produce and oversee production of a full range of printed and electronic materials.
This broad category includes:
- College Catalogs
- College Handbook
- Communication Guide
- Admissions Publications
- Fundraising Brochures
- The Faculty and Staff Directory
- Special Event Publications
- Administrative Web Pages
Ensuring that an accurate and consistent impression of the College is conveyed in print and Web communications also falls under the realm of the Publications and Electronic Media Office. Staff members produce official SUNY Cortland stationery, regulate the use of the College seal and logotype and offer guidance on the preferred usage of building names, etc.
Campus Services
Basic services provided in the office include concept development, editing, proofreading, layout, production supervision and hiring printers, freelance designers and photographers. We can also work with you in defining your publications and Web goals and reviewing your options.
Production Schedules
Publications are scheduled in a timely fashion as possible, however, individuals with projects should allow at least six weeks, including time at an outside printer, for delivery of a job. Please bear in mind that the office produces annual publications year round and must schedule unplanned projects accordingly.
