Professors and students will discuss the opportunities that exist within their departments — from majors to student clubs and organizations. Staff members from offices such as athletics, career services and residence life and housing also will answer questions.

Campus Tours

This student-led walking tour of campus will include stops at several academic buildings and a residence hall. Tours take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They run continuously every 15 minutes and depart from Park Center Alumni Arena. Campus tours last approximately 90 minutes.

11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Student Life Center Tours

This self-guided tour introduces our one-of-a-kind recreation center and dining facility. Walk yourself to the Student Life Center, where a staff member will meet you in the lobby. Tours take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and last approximately 15 minutes.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residence Hall Tour Only

Traditional Style: A staff-led tour of residence halls that include Shea, Hayes, Bishop, Randall, Hendrick or Fitzgerald Hall. Tours take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., depart from Alumni Arena and last approximately 30 minutes.

Suite Style: A staff member will meet you in the lobby of Clark Hall to lead you on this tour. Tours take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 minutes. Walk or ride an Open House shuttle to Clark Hall.

West Campus Apartments: Bus transportation will be provided to West Campus Apartments, where a staff member will lead this tour. Tours take place from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., depart from Alumni Arena and last approximately 45 minutes.

Students can present their voucher at these dining areas: Neubig Hall, the Bistro, Fuel, Union Station, Greens & Grains, Pomodori or Hilltop. Guests and family members may purchase food. Shuttle service continues until 3:30 p.m.

Dragon Field

SUNY Cortland's softball team is scheduled to host conference rival Oneonta with two games at Dragon Field.

Planetarium Show
Bowers Hall

Visit SUNY Cortland's recently renovated home to the natural sciences and take a journey into space. The show lasts approximately an hour.

1 to 3 p.m.

Open House at Parks Alumni House
29 Tompkins Street

This historic bed-and-breakfast, located a short walk from campus, hosts many events for alumni, students and the community at large. It also provides lodging to the public throughout the year.
