The SUNY Cortland Registrar's Office is pleased to be able to participate in the SUNY Reverse Transfer Initiative, which gives students with a substantial portion of an associate degree completed the ability to transfer credits they have earned at a SUNY four-year institution back to a SUNY community college. The SUNY community college will review the courses taken at a four-year institution, and determine if the combination of credits meet the requirements for an associate degree.
The Reverse Transfer Initiative is managed by SUNY. You may have been invited to participate in the program by a representative of SUNY. For more information about the program, for participation details, or if you have questions about your involvement, please visit the SUNY Reverse Transfer site, or contact the Registrar's Office for assistance and support.
If you are a community college faculty or staff member seeking additional information or support for a reverse transfer student, please feel free to contact the Registrar's Office.
