Supplemental Instruction Overview

Please provide feedback about Supplemental Instruction (SI) by taking our end of term surveys.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a series of free, voluntary review sessions for students taking historically difficult classes.

  • We offer multiple opportunities to meet with classmates to compare notes, voice concerns and questions, discuss concepts, develop study strategies and take practice tests in an informal environment
  • Our trained Supplemental Instruction leaders are competent students who successfully completed the classes they lead. Leaders help you integrate "how to learn with what to learn."
  • In the past, Supplemental Instruction has been proven to be most effective for those students who regularly attend sessions, and who arrive prepared and ready to discuss current material

Supplemental Instruction is partially funded by SGA with Mandatory Student Activity Fees.
