What is Supplemental Instruction (SI)?
SI is a series of free, voluntary review sessions for students taking historically difficult classes.
- SI offers multiple opportunities to meet with classmates to compare notes, voice concerns and questions, discuss concepts, develop study strategies and take practice tests in an informal environment
- Trained SI leaders - competent students who successfully completed the classes they lead - help students integrate "how to learn with what to learn."
- In the past, Supplemental Instruction has been proven to be most effective for those students who regularly attend SI sessions, and who arrive prepared and ready to discuss current material

Supplemental Instruction is partially funded by SGA with Mandatory Student Activity Fees.
