Things I wish I knew when I was a first-year student here at Cortland:
1. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! Get involved in different clubs and activities. You might just meet your best friends!
2. Setting goals for the week, the semester, and year can help you gain perspective and prioritize your tasks.
3. Time management is more important than you think. Juggling class, work, and extracurricular can be hectic. Write out a schedule to help you remember where you have to be at what time. Don't forget to make time for sleep!
Songs I was listening to in middle school: "Fergalicious" - Fergie, "Leave (Get Out) -Jojo, "Bringing Sexy Back" - Justin Timberlake, "No One" - Alicia Keys
"It's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along." Maroon 5
