Call for Participants
*Study on Stuttering: Participants Needed
Communication Disorders and Sciences Department, SUNY Cortland, is looking for adults who stutter, ranging in age from 18 to 70 years, to participate in a research study on stuttering. Individuals whose native language is American English will be included, regardless of their gender and ethnicity.
The study takes place at the Communication Disorders and Sciences Department, Professional Studies Building, and it lasts approximately 2 hours. During this time, you will fill out a participant questionnaire, the severity of your stuttering will be assessed, and you will complete 3 experimental tasks, which involve viewing various pictures and pushing a button in response to the pictures.
Individuals who meet the inclusion criteria and complete the study will receive compensation for their time and participation.
