Relation to Education Program
Student assists in seeking and organizing internship options for students. These activities give the student additional research and internship search experience, a component of the graduate program. Exposure to the internship process helps the student understand the inner workings of the sport industry. Working with faculty members on these issues gives the student additional experience that can be directly related to the student's educational program.
Responsibilities
Assistant Sport Management Undergraduate Internship Coordinator and Graduate Coordinator in maintaining and coordinating files, databases, and other material related to intern placement. Help conduct research on available internship opportunities and distribute those opportunities to students Supervise and assist undergraduate students with internship placement Maintain a presence in the department to meet with undergraduate and graduate students seeking internship placement Other duties as assigned by the Graduate Coordinator and Department Chair.
Salary/Stipend
$1750 stipend per semester
