Applicant Requirements
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in education (elementary or secondary).
Program Requirements
- Complete 30 credit hours of approved graduate coursework (10 courses).
- Complete a 50 hour internship.
Program Outcomes
The M.S.Ed. program leads to New York state certification in Students with Disabilities (All Grades). It also enhances your professional credentials and prepares you for careers that may include: special education teacher in inclusive classrooms, direct consultation or resource room teacher, special education committee chair, developmental disabilities specialist, curriculum specialist, transition services coordinator or support employment job coach specialist.
