About

The star magnolia is a species which exhibits spectacular flowering in the late spring. Its flowers are white with a pink hue and very showy and slightly fragrant. The leaves are elliptica, about 2-4 inches and green. It produces aggregate fruit which, when mature open to expose orange seeds. The bark of the star magnolia is an ornamental smooth grey.
