Campus Champion

Patricia Martinez de la Vega Mansilla, lecturer in the Modern Languages Department, brought together educators from across New York state as coordinator of the recent Virginia Levine Second Language Educators’ Conference. Patricia has worked hard to create a welcoming atmosphere during her 36 years at SUNY Cortland, contributing to outlets that include the Clark Center for Global Engagement and Kente Ceremony Committee. Always a source of help for those who need it, Patricia also volunteers to translate parental permission documents into Spanish for student teachers, letting them better connect with their classrooms.
