About

Has simple ovate dark green leaves that are 2 to 5 inches long and are oppositely arranged along its branches. Can grow to a maximum height of 30 feet. The leaves turn to a brownish-green color in the fall. In the spring it produces showy cream colored flowers that are in panicles up to 12 inches long. The flowers are fragrant and last from 1 to 2 weeks.
