Campus Champion

Ryan Morales is described as “the strength behind the Cupboard” by his supervisor. During his part-time work as support assistant at the SUNY Cortland Cupboard, the exercise science graduate student does the heavy lifting associated with donation delivery, in addition to cleaning, inventory and maintenance. For Ryan, it’s the perfect way to help students who face food insecurity. He also tables for Swipe Out Hunger and serves on the SUNY Cortland Cupboard Committee — filling a vital role that promotes health and equity for students in need.
