Political Engagement Internship

Political Engagement Internship, Spring 2018 Requirements

  • Junior or Senior
  • Political Science majors preferred
  • Must take internship for credit

Responsibilities focus on

  • The planning and conducting of a regional voter-education project
  • Train students to serve as democratic deliberation facilitators
  • Partner with students at neighboring colleges to plan, recruit speakers for, and conduct issues-oriented speeches
  • Record quantitative and qualitative data from events
  • Update other Institute Interns during bi-weekly meetings; collaborate with other interns, as need be (regarding promotional materials, for example)
