General Information

The SUNY Cortland Recreational Sports Office offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities to the entire College community. Programs are available to all students, faculty/staff and their families.

Most programs/services are available at no charge to participants. However, in order to protect the recreational privileges of our SUNY Cortland affiliates and to provide a controlled, safe atmosphere in the facilities, participants are required to present a current SUNY Cortland photo identification card to participate. To assure fair, consistent enforcement, patrons are required to present their I.D. cards each time they participate.

The Recreational Sports program is one of the many outstanding programs within the Division of Student Affairs. Most of the funding is derived from the Mandatory Student Life Center and Mandatory Activity Fee (MAF).
