If you are setting up Duo for the first time, follow steps 1-2, click Start Setup, and continue on to step 6.
A USB token looks like a regular USB thumb drive. To authenticate with a USB token, you plug it into your computer and touch a small circular area on the token when prompted to do so.
Students should visit The Help Center in the Memorial Library to inquire about obtaining a token. If you are a student with a disability and require a USB token, contact Jeremy Zhe-Heimerman in the Disability Resources Office at 607-753-2358.
Faculty/Staff can place an order for a token through the Hardware/Software Request System in myRedDragon.
We currently only have tokens compatible with a USB port. This means your device needs to have a USB port. If you do not have a USB port but are still interested in using a token, contact the Technology Help Center to figure out what might be available to you.
USB tokens only work in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. If you are having trouble with your token, make sure your web browser is up to date.
If you have lost or misplaced your token, contact the Technology Help Center at 607-753-2500 to report it.
Check out our Help Topics section of our Duo page.
