In Blackboard Learn, you can use tests to measure student knowledge, gauge progress, and gather information from students.
In this workshop the main focus is on creating tests and questions, choosing appropriate settings, and adding tests to course areas. Along the way, you will learn some best practices for encouraging academic honesty. An introduction to Respondus Lockdown Browser will be provided, however, a separate workshop is dedicated to this tool.
Blackboard: Quiz Generator
At the end of the workshop we will look at using the quiz generator adapted by SAWS. It is an easy way to convert paper tests into Blackboard compatible files. It allows you to type up the quiz offline in a program like Word or Notepad and not have to go through the trouble of making long quizzes via the Blackboard web interface.
