The famous Cortaca Jug game is headed back to the Bronx.
For the second time in the storied football rivalry’s history, the two upstate rivals will square off at the home of the New York Yankees in 2026.
More than 40,000 fans attended the first Yankee Stadium game in 2022, and Red Dragons of all class years are invited to make it another historic event.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for the 2026 Cortaca Jug game will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m., exclusively on Ticketmaster.
Ticket prices range from $27.50 to $89, plus fees.

Will there be designated stadium sections for Cortland fans?
Cortland will be considered the home team for the 2026 Cortaca Jug game.
Designated Cortland sections will be on the first base and right field side of the stadium.
Will there be official pregame and postgame gatherings?
Yes, similar to 2022, the SUNY Cortland Alumni Association will host official Red Dragon gatherings before and after the game at establishments near Yankee Stadium.

Will transportation be available for students in Fall 2026?
Yes, bus transportation will be available from the SUNY Cortland campus to Yankee Stadium for current students in Fall 2026.
Students must register for bus transportation separately from purchasing a ticket. Transportation will be available on a first come, first served basis.
