Beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2020, a new website will be the hub for all things celebrating the Class of 2020, featuring video presentations, interactive activities and a listing of this year’s applicants for degrees. The website will be accessible from the Class of 2020 page. Your graduate will receive an email once it's available, as well as daily messages throughout the week of celebration. 

Help us celebrate the SUNY Cortland Class of 2020! Below are just a few examples of how you can participate in the Class of 2020 Virtual Celebration.

Submit a congratulatory message to the Class of 2020

Prior to and during the virtual celebration week, honor your student by sharing a message of congratulations. To share your congratulatory notes, photos and videos, post your on social media and utilize the hashtags #CortlandCongrats and #Cortland2020. You may also submit a message by completing the Cortland Congrats form. All messages will be featured on the celebration website beginning Tuesday, May 26 and will be available for viewing throughout the week. 

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Post a photo from your graduate’s childhood
  • Share photos of your celebrations
  • Tell us why you're proud of your graduate
  • Record a video of congratulations
  • Post photos of your graduate's first year and last years at Cortland
  • General congratulations to the Class of 2020
  • Words of encouragement or advice

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, find your graduate on the Class of 2020 Virtual Celebration site. Within the graduate section of the site, you will be able to search for your graduate's name and view their special person and photo if submitted.
