Chapel: Students, faculty and staff gather for a 30-minute time of worship. Sometimes we are quiet and contemplative. Sometimes we raise our voices in song. We always share our joys, concerns and prayers for the entire SUNY Cortland family.
Periodically, special guests join us for our series called “This I Believe.” Our guests are invited to share the principles that guide their living. At the end of the year, our seniors take their turn in sharing their “This I Believe” statements.
Stuff that Matters: We gather at 4:30 p.m. to cook together. We eat by 5:15 p.m., and we are cleaned up by 6:30. As we gather, we talk about the stuff that matters to the people who are around the table.
We’ve had interesting conversations about:
We celebrate birthdays and successes; we trouble shoot solutions for problems, even as we grow into a community of good friends.
Oh, by the way, the meal is free and everyone is welcome.

Friday, Nov. 9– 9 p.m. to 2 a..m.- We host Cortaca Mug, our alcohol/drug-free alternative on Cortaca weekend.
Near the end of the semester we will hold a multi-faith holiday dinner.
