Justin Wade is serving as the Treasurer of the Student Government Association for the 2016-2017 academic year. Justin is a senior Political Science Major from Rochester, New York. As one of the top students in his department and a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Justin had become one of the most politically involved students on SUNY Cortland’s Campus. He formerly served as President of the Political Science Association for four semester, as well as headed the SUNY Cortland’s Students for Rand chapter, which served as a nationally organized political youth movement that actively campaign for former presidential candidate Rand Paul on college campuses across America. Justin also spent a summer in Washington, D.C. interning on Capitol Hill for Rod Blum, the representative of Iowa’s 1st District in the U.S. House of Representatives. As SGA Treasurer, Justin has committed himself to improving the relationship between the SGA and its organization by working to make the request form approval process faster, easier, and more efficient for all involved in the process. Justin is excited to represent the students of SUNY Cortland, as well as the variety of organizations the campus has to offer. Justin is dedicated to making the SUNY Cortland experience a great one!
