Rashad Williams

Rashad Williams, a native of Syracuse, NY, has been involved in various clubs since he first came to SUNY Cortland in 2010.  Now a junior studying in the field of communication, Rashad looks back at the past two and a half years with a great deal of fondness.  He is proud to say that he has been involved in such great student organizations like the Black Student Union, Women of Color, Gospel Choir, and the Pan African Student Association just to name a few.  "I love being involved" he says, "for in what better way can we positively impact our community?  If you want to leave your mark, you'll have to sacrifice time and put in effort."  The opportunity to serve as a 2013 SGA officer fills him with an overwhelming joy.
