Michael Doris, a junior from Rockville Centre, New York, is the Parliamentarian for the 2013-1014 Academic school year. Michael is currently studying Adolescence Education in Chemistry with a minor in Communication Studies. Michael is also a Resident Assistant in Hendrick Hall and a part of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and is overjoyed for the school year ahead. Michael became involved with the Student Government in his freshmen year when he became a Senator. Michael stayed a Senator for two years, while serving on various committees such as: Academic Grievance Tribunal and others. He wanted to get more involved with the Student Government during his junior year because he believes it is essential for students’ to have their voice heard on campus. He is a little anxious of balancing being an RA and being in Student Government, but he loves to take on challenges and always thinks optimistically.
