The Geology Club is open to all members of the campus community. We welcome persons with interests in Earth Science and processes, minerals, caves, gems, fossils, rocks, dinosaurs, or any other geology-related hobby. The club has its own meeting room and student lounge in Bowers 337. The club is especially beneficial to students taking any level of geology courses because the student room constantly has friendly students willing to help.
The club provides opportunities for its members to socialize with others who share their interests and go on trips such as cave diving, mining, fossil hunting, and conferences. We also participate in campus events like Relay for Life. The club also brings guest speakers to campus, which the members and learn more about job opportunities in the field of earth science.
