SUNY Cortland students will host their annual Children’s Festival for kids in the Cortland community on Saturday, April 26.
Highlights of the event include a bounce house, photo booth, arts and crafts, t-shirts, games and refreshments.
The annual festival — formally known as Festivus — is dedicated to the memory of Mary Joy Greene Sherlach ’78, a school psychologist killed in the Newtown elementary school shooting in 2012. This year, it will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Moffett Gym, located in Moffett Center on the campus.
Organized by the Student Government Association (SGA), the event is free and open to the public.
