- Service-Learning Orientations. Wednesday, February 02, and Thursday, February 03, from 3:00 to 4:30 in Corey Union's Function Room. Through "Project Adventure"-based activities, students learn at least one key idea in service-learning: they are team-members in an important project, so their continual and high-quality performance is required. The event is free and open to the public.
- State of Poverty Simulation. Tuesday, February 08, 2:50 - 4:50. By role-playing "a month in the life" of people living below the poverty line, participants begin to understand that, for most of the poor, poverty is not a choice: they face barriers that are often invisible to the rest of society. The event is free and open to the public.
