Spring 2018 Internship Criteria

  • Junior or Senior
  • Public Administration/Public Policy majors preferred
  • Must take internship for credit

Responsibilities Include

  • Conduct bi-weekly Internship meetings to help coordinate projects and to provide feedback to the Institute’s director
  • Help other Institute interns succeed by
    • Establishing and maintaining high expectations
    • Nurturing collaboration and innovation
    • Developing a reflective practitioner culture

The other internships are

  • SUNY Cortland Cupboard
  • Political Engagement – Develop a regional voter-education project
  • Promotion – Speak at events such as Open Houses; conduct activities such as the socio-economic docudrama
  • Publicity – Compose the Institute’s monthly newsletter; photograph students engaged in applied learning
