Weekend and Break Buses

SUNY Cortland's Student Government Association contracts for weekend and break bus transportation at a reduced student rate to downstate locations.

Tickets can be purchased on campus in the Student Government Office at the discounted price. We are happy to provide a pdf copy of the bus schedule.  

The Thanksgiving Break bus will leave campus Tuesday, November 24 at 3 p.m.  The route will be the same as the standard weekend bus.  Tickets will be on sale November 18 - November 20, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the SGA Office.  There will be no refunds or exchanges.

Students are allowed two bags.  One bag under the bus and one bag on the bus.  If they have a big purse, that counts as their one bag on the bus.  Laptops cannot go under the bus, they must go on the bus with them as their one bag.  This will be monitored without exception by the bus captains and drivers.  There is a $10 charge for additional bags.

In addition, Trailways and Greyhound share Cortland routes to a variety of locations, leaving Cortland two or three times daily from the bus station in front of the County Office Building, 60 Central Avenue in Cortland. Tickets must be purchased from the bus company www.greyhound.com or www.trailways.com.
